Become a qualified, confident lash technician

This is LB Lash Academy's Foundation Lash Training Course, designed for beginners and for anyone who wants to learn classic-style lash application properly, with a strong focus on safety, technique and confidence.

Training is delivered one-to-one or in very small groups, so you're never rushed, overlooked, or left guessing.

You will learn Classic lash extensions, alongside my signature Mink technique — an ultra-soft, refined approach using super-fine lashes for a lighter, more natural finish.

Unlike traditional classic lashes, Mink lashes are finer, more flexible and increasingly preferred by modern clients for their comfort and softness. Training with these finer materials from the very beginning develops better control, precision and placement — skills that immediately raise the standard of your work and set you apart as a lash artist.

Training with progression in mind

From day one, beginner training is delivered with long-term development in mind.

Techniques, tools and habits are taught in a way that naturally supports future volume and advanced training, making progression far smoother when you’re ready to take the next step.

By learning with finer lashes and precise handling from the start, students build the control and confidence that later makes skills such as fan creation and advanced lash work far easier to master.

This means you’re not just learning to apply lashes — you’re building a foundation that supports long-term growth as a lash artist.

Classic vs Mink | What is the difference?

Classic lashes are the foundation of eyelash extensions and the technique every lash artist should master. They involve applying one extension to one natural lash, creating clean, defined results.

Mink lashes, however, are a more refined evolution of classic lashing.

They are made using super-fine, ultra-lightweight lashes that create a softer, more natural finish while still delivering definition. The result feels lighter for the client, looks more delicate on the eye, and is increasingly preferred by modern clients who want enhancement without heaviness.

On this course, you’ll be trained in both Classic and my signature Mink technique, giving you the ability to offer a higher-end, more desirable result from the very start of your career.

Why this matters for your future

Training with finer lashes from day one develops better control, precision and lash handling, making advanced techniques — such as fan creation and volume work — far easier to learn later on.

This means you’re not just learning how to apply lashes —

you’re learning in a way that supports progression into master and volume training, setting you up for long-term growth as a lash artist.
